What delivery to Liverpool costs.
Liverpool sits 14 miles out, which is 4 miles past our free 10-mile radius. That adds £10 to whichever size you pick (£2.50 per mile). It is shown as its own line in your quote — we do not bury it.
Choosing a size is the only decision that really matters, and we would rather talk you into the right one than sell you an extra skip later. For Liverpool customers it usually works out like this:

If your skip is going on your own driveway or land in Liverpool, you do not need a permit and there is nothing to arrange. If it has to sit on a public road or pavement, Liverpool City Council needs to issue a permit first, and the skip needs lights and markings. We handle that application for you as part of the booking — you do not need to work out which department to contact.
Lead times differ from one authority to the next, so the earlier you tell us the better. And if a road permit is going to be awkward, Wait & Load sidesteps it entirely — we bring the skip on the wagon, you load it, and it leaves with us the same visit. No permit, nothing left on the street.

South Liverpool is a huge mix — Victorian villas in Aigburth and Mossley Hill, terraced grids in Wavertree and Old Swan, semis through Childwall and Allerton, and estate housing at Netherley and Belle Vale. Landlord and end-of-tenancy clearances are constant, and the Victorian stock throws up a lot of renovation waste.
Terraced streets in the L15 and L13 postcodes rarely have driveways, so a Liverpool City Council permit or a Wait & Load is often the way. Suburban addresses in L18 and L25 usually take a skip on the drive with no permit at all.
Knowing the ground around Sefton Park, Calderstones Park, Woolton Village and the Albert Dock is not a sales point, it is practical. It means we turn up with the right vehicle for the street, and we can tell you on the phone whether your access will take an 8 yard.
Skips are the bulk of what we do, but plenty of jobs are better handled another way:
Most non-hazardous waste is fine: wood, metal, furniture, cardboard, plastics, general household waste, green waste, soil, hardcore, brick, rubble, tiles and packaging. Mix it as you like — it gets sorted at the transfer station.
Two things need mentioning when you book rather than after the fact. Plasterboard has to be kept separate from general waste under environmental regulations. Mattresses can go in, but carry a separate disposal charge because the processing facilities charge us extra for them.
What genuinely cannot go in: asbestos, gas bottles, fire extinguishers, liquid paint, chemicals, oils and fuels, batteries, tyres, fridges and freezers, and clinical waste. Fridges we will still take away — just as a separate collection, because the degassing has to be done properly.
Around half an hour from Runcorn depending on which side of the city you are on. We cover south and east Liverpool as standard. Next-day is realistic almost every time, and same-day is often possible if you ring early and we have a wagon heading your way.

I would highly recommend Smiths Waste Removals & Skip Hire, placed the enquiry on their site and someone was talking to me with in minutes.
