Daresbury is a mix of village cottages, larger detached homes and the modern housing around Daresbury Park, with the science campus and business park alongside. We handle domestic clearances and trade waste from the estate in about equal measure.
The village lanes are narrow and often have parked cars on both sides. We come out and look at anything we are not sure about rather than turning up with the wrong vehicle.

Two things need mentioning when you book rather than after the fact. Plasterboard has to be kept separate from general waste under environmental regulations. Mattresses can go in, but carry a separate disposal charge because the processing facilities charge us extra for them.
What genuinely cannot go in: asbestos, gas bottles, fire extinguishers, liquid paint, chemicals, oils and fuels, batteries, tyres, fridges and freezers, and clinical waste. Fridges we will still take away — just as a separate collection, because the degassing has to be done properly.
If your skip is going on your own driveway or land in Daresbury, you do not need a permit and there is nothing to arrange. If it has to sit on a public road or pavement, Halton Borough Council needs to issue a permit first, and the skip needs lights and markings. We handle that application for you as part of the booking — you do not need to work out which department to contact.
